NPP Loyal Ladies, a pro-opposition New Patriotic Party Group, has donated baby products to expectant and nursing mothers at the Ho Municipal Hospital. The gesture, according to the Vice President of the Group, Modesta Adjoa Darbo Nsowah, was to cushion parents against the harsh economic conditions under the current government.

“The economic situation in Ghana is very difficult and we know the expenses involved in child care, so we just want to give them something to loosen the burden on them.” The items included baby diapers, gowns, confectioneries and other assorted products.

The NPP Loyal Ladies believes there was a need to vote out the NDC government come December 2016, and therefore used the opportunity to solicit votes for their Presidential nominee.

“We are urging them to hold on tight and come December 7, when they give their mandate to the NPP, better things are ahead and the burden on Ghanaians will be loosen.” They promised spending better parts of the week in the region to join the people of Asogli in this year’s Yam festival celebrations, and also use the opportunity to preach the message of hope to the people.
