NPP loyal ladies presenting items to Ho Municipal Hospital

The Loyal Ladies of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Thursday stormed Ho, the Volta regional capital, to campaign for the party’s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.

The ladies, as part of the campaign, visited the maternity department of the Ho Municipal Hospital, where they distributed some items, including baby products and gowns to expectant and nursing mothers.

They also used the opportunity to preach the NPP’s message of hope to the women and appealed to them to vote for the NPP during the December polls.

Executive Vice president of the Loyal Ladies, Modesta Adjoa Darbo Nsowah, told Starr News, their gesture was to cushion the mothers against the harsh economic conditions prevailing under the Mahama-led government.

“The economic situation in Ghana is very difficult and we know the expenses involved in child care, so we just want to give them something to loosen the burden on them,” she stated.

“We are urging them to hold on tight and come December 7 when they give their mandate to the NPP, better things are ahead and the burden on Ghanaians will be loosen.”

The group, accompanied by some regional officers of the party, took advantage of the ongoing Asogli Yam festival celebration to canvass for votes in selected communities.
