It was an exciting weekend as the NPP Loyal Ladies group engaged in the maiden edition of its much-anticipated sporting activities dubbed “REV-UP Games”.

This edition which happened on Saturday 21st January 2023 featured games between the Greater Accra and Eastern regional chapters of the Loyal Ladies group at Nsawam and Dobro in the Eastern and Greater Accra regions respectively.

The games, held in two parts kicked off with a football match between the 2 regions at Dobro, where the Greater Accra Regional team beat the home team by 2 goals to 1. The second part of the games then continued at Dobro, where the competition resumed between the two regions battling it out with activities such as swimming, dancing, eating, and draft competitions among many others.

This year’s edition was made possible by the support and benevolence of Nana Kwabena Appiah MD State Housing, and Frank Asiedu Bekoe, Director of Political Affairs at the office of the Chief of Staff.

The special guests who graced the event included Hon. Frank Annor Dompreh, Majority Chief Whip (MP Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency), Tina Boateng, Deputy CEO Petroleum Hub Development Corporation, Mr. Alfred Thompson, Former Deputy MD, NIB, Dr. Dominic Eduah, CEO, GNPC Foundation, and Kwame A. Prempeh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Public Procurement Authority.

Other special guests from the NPP were Kofi Tonto, Government spokesperson, Former Deputy National Youth Organizer Perpetual Lomokie Akwada, Deputy National Organizers, Joseph Kwayaja and Chris Nii Lloyd, Deputy National Youth Organizer Sandra Sarkodee-Adoo, Mercy Amo Darko, Eastern Regional Women’s Organizer Adamu Raha Musah, the Eastern Regional Youth Organizer and Constituency Executives (Nsawam Adoagyiri).

The first edition of REV-UP games was a highly patronized and successful event, and the group looks forward to other future editions with even more participants.
