The Loyal Ladies of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Thursday stormed the Volta regional capital, Ho, to campaign for the party’s flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.

The loyal ladies, who joined hands with their Volta regional colleagues, as part of the campaign, visited the maternity department of the Ho Municipal Hospital, where they distributed some items, including baby products toiletries and gowns to expectant and nursing mothers with the sole aim of putting a smile in their faces as they go through trying moments of their lives.
They also used the opportunity to preach the NPP’s message of hope to the women and appealed to them to vote for the NPP during the December polls.

The Executive Vice President of the Loyal Ladies, Modesta Adjoa Darbo Nsowah, in an interview with Joy News said, their gesture was to cushion the mothers against the harsh economic conditions prevailing under the Mahama-led government.

“We know that the health insurance scheme is almost collapsing and health care has become very expensive and we are also aware that the economic situation in Ghana is very difficult and we know the expenses involved in child care, so we just want to give them something to loosen the burden on them. We want to put smile on the faces of our mothers” she stated.
She also urged the people of the Volta Region to give Nana Akufo- Addo and the NPP a chance for a change for Ghana especially Volta Region.
“We want to assure them that with the one district one factory promised by Nana Akufo Addo, youth unemployment will become a thing of the past with the NPP in power.”
